Hi Dušan,

I've heard that the Galaxy S 2 has problems with running Dindy, but unfortunately have never had the chance to debug it on that phone (for that I need someone to lend me his/her phone to attach to my computer and see what's going on.)

Also, lately I've had no time to invest in Dindy, so this issue will remain unsolved for the foreseeable future.

I'm sorry that I don't have a better answer for you. I will gladly refund your purchase if you'd like me to.

Thanks for writing me about it.

I dumped Ubuntu altogether because they wanted to force me to use Unity. Sure, I could have installed Gnome classic, but then every Ubuntu upgrade thereafter would be another opportunity for Ubuntu to break my system and force me back to their crappy Unity. I hate Unity because I will not use any system which prevents me from defining (and redefining) my own menu with my own application categories at will. I want to do actual work on my computer and that requires control over where things are and how I access them.
BTW, you can switch between apss using Alt-Tab under every Linux system and via Ctrl-Alt-Arrow move from workspace to workspace. I often have seven or more programs open at once divided into task-oriented workspaces. You don't need Ubuntu for that.

Hi. My name is L and I'm an alcoholic.
I have an old teaspooon I can bend. It is from an original old 1-Shekel-a-piece-Shuk-Hacarmel-style. Don’t trust me and check for viruses first.

(wtf?)

Hi Martin,

Thank you very much for notifying me about this issue and for the kind words.

Dindy is not really under active development anymore, but in the upcoming days I will try to find out whether this is a Dindy issue or a change that was made in Locale and now requires Dindy to change too. If possible, I will make the change and post an update. I just can't really commit to a date right now.

Thanks again,
Amit

Hi,

I love your app. and have used it with Locale successfully for ages. But recently I upgraded locale and dindy and now locale no longer controls dindy.

I can use dindy stand alone. I tried deleting and re-adding all my dindy settings in locale, but it didn't work.

Any ideas?

Regards

Hard evidence is indeed a good way to do it, but my friend's story was that her authorized PayPal account wasn't enough for eBay (and by the way, they take around 2$ now for verification)

That's why I started thinking about additional ways to validate an identity.
