I enjoyed watching this one so much that I decided to give it its own post. Following the excellent shirt folding techniques series (parts one and two), here’s a video showing how to peel a cooked potato in one shot. Let me know if it works.
KPL, or Kids Programming Language, is a Microsoft backed project to let children write computer programs. It is based on the .NET Framework and features an IDE similar to Visual Studio. The programming language itself is similar to Visual Basic, only it allows very quickly to render cool programs and games for those kids who must have immediate gratification (pretty much all of them).
This long video on Microsoft’s Channel 9 website demonstrates KPL. If you have time, it’s pretty interesting.
Today I quit my job as a software engineer for Motorola and signed a contract for a software engineer position at Diligent. From the website:

I’m very excited about working for Diligent. All the people I met there were extremely nice and the job is supposed to be both challenging and interesting. I’m moving from Windows programming, which I’ve been doing for the past few years, to Linux/Unix real-time programming so that itself is a challenge.
I will start working in a month and a half. Wish me luck.
